IS&S Thrustsense Autothrottle King Air
The Innovative Solutions & Support (IS&S) Autothrottle for the Collins® Proline 2™ and Fusion equipped King Air® series of aircraft is a full regime automatic throttle control system designed to reduce pilot workload and enhanced engine protection. The system manages engine power through all phases of flight while preventing overtemperature or operations at excessive power levels.
Product Advantages
- Takeoff - compensates for any engine surge, manages power on remaining engine during an engine out scenario (OEI, One Engine Inoperative)
- Climb - throttles are automatically reduced to a maximum continuous climb or torque schedule as a function of altitude
- Airspeed - controls airspeed to a commanded value
